You know those jobs that you need to get to at some point around the house, but can never find the time or the motivation to tackle them? I have a LONG list of those jobs. But eventually, the time comes when you just can't take it anymore!
And yesterday was my day.
The outside of my kitchen cabinets were just nasty. Sprinkled in food splashes, pencil marks (kids- will you stop doodling on the cabinets already?), and sticky fingerprints. I had done my best to look the other way all summer long- but yesterday morning I couldn't take the ickiness for one more minute.
So I tackled them.
With sweet smelling Murphy's lemon-scented kitchen cleaner, a stack of scrubbing sponges, a toothbrush (to get into those crevices) and a few Mr. Clean Magic Erasers.
Truthfully, it only took an hour of scrubbing to restore my cabinetry to a state of cleanliness. So tell me please….why did I wait so long?
Next on the list? I need to do some serious cleaning of my kitchen chairs. (ick, again)
What about you? Do you have any jobs that you need to tackle, but can't find the time or inclination to “just do it”? Please share!
