Kids love to conduct experiments- mix things together, see how they turn out, maybe make something cool like slime or even chewing gum! So a Science Birthday Party is sure to be a hit! We planned this kids birthday party when my son Spencer turned 5 years old and used a local franchise company called Mad Science to supply the scientist, the experiment supplies, and best of all, the dry ice!

Science Birthday Party Set-Up:
We held our birthday party in our finished basement, spreading out sleeping bags for the kids to sit on as they watched the “show”.
We had created our own birthday banner to decorate the room, but I love this science themed birthday banner This is an affiliate link: MomOf6 earns a commission if you purchase, at no additional cost to you. !

Science Birthday Party Activities:
The nice thing about hiring entertainment for your child's birthday party is that they bring along everything that you need for all of the activities! Our scientist brought all kinds of cool experiments for the kids to do!
The kids conducted experiments:

And she brought along dry ice, and showed the kids what it could do… like cover them in fog!
Which was a huge hit!
The Science Party Birthday Cake!
Nothing says “Science Party” like a volcano cake, right? And our kind scientist allowed us to borrow a bit of that dry ice to use so that our volcano appeared to be smoking!
Science Birthday Party Goody Bags
The goodie bags for this party were some cool science projects – such as a connector to make a cyclone out of 2 2-liter bottles, This is an affiliate link: MomOf6 earns a commission if you purchase, at no additional cost to you. and these cool 3-D puzzle balls This is an affiliate link: MomOf6 earns a commission if you purchase, at no additional cost to you. .
To make things fun, the goodie bags were hidden in our front yard, and required a treasure hunt to go and find them!
