Do you have someone special in your life who is getting ready to graduate from college this Spring? We do! Our nephew Ben is wrapping up his last semester at Michigan State University as we speak- and I can hardly believe that he is at this milestone in his life! He has already got the whole “transitioning to adulthood” thing under control- having secured a great position at a large corporation in his field of study. And may I just give a shout-out to my brother and sister-in-law for launching two full-fledged adults into this world who are such amazing people! You did it!
So please allow me to share a few stories about our nephew Ben- and what he means to me and to our family…..
I met Ben when he was just three years old when my (future) husband's family came to visit. Now back in my late 20's, I hadn't spent much time around little kids since way back when I had been a babysitting pre-teen… and I just wasn't sure how cute and cuddly a little boy could be. But that three-year-old sweetie is the guy I credit for making me realize just how awesome little boys could be! (And clearly the universe was trying to teach me something since I would go on to give birth to three boys in the next few years!)
Here, let me tell you more…
So how do you properly celebrate such a terrific young man's college graduation? What kind of a graduation gift idea conveys how much you love them and how proud you are of their achievement?
Well did you know that in a recent survey conducted by The Motherhood found that nearly 70% of all graduates never even frame their college diplomas? That's a pretty hard-earned piece of paper and I think it symbolizes so many things- effort, sacrifice, dedication, and achievement. So I don't want our nephew to toss his into a scrapbook or put it away in a drawer- I want him to proudly display it for everyone to see in this gorgeous Michigan State University diploma frame!
Purchasing a high-quality diploma frame as a graduation gift shows your graduate how proud you are of their success, and will remind them of the accomplishment they achieved.
