Now that the Christmas decorations have been taken down and stored away, it was time to update my framed subway art! I decided to go with a mixture of both New Year art and inspirational subway art for the month of January. I figured that I really didn't need any art that depicted the winter season….because trust me- there will be plenty of that available just by looking out the window! (You know, if it ever starts snowing around here this winter!)
So here is the fireplace mantle in our family room (and in case I've never mentioned it before, that lovely wood mantle was made by my husband Steve, from the trunk of a cedar tree that had fallen in the woods behind our house).
