With the onset of spring… comes the start of the busy season here at the Rowley house! With 6 soccer practices, 3 soccer games, 6 Chinese lessons, 1 gymnastic class, and 1 horseback riding lesson between Friday and Sunday afternoon… we spend lots of time in our car running kids from place to place. Throw in the start of an amped-up allergy season (the tree pollen is already out of control here), and a Mom who has a to-do list the length of a football field…. well, it just makes a woman want to crawl back into bed and wake up next month!
So here is some inspiration for you (okay, mainly me) to help throw off this springtime funk and get back to enjoying the season!
Something to Craft with the Kids:
Something to Bake:
Something to Watch:
I love Anna Quindlen, the Pulitzer Prize winning author of “A Short Guide to a Happy Life”… so I was thrilled when I heard that Kelly Wallace would be interviewing her about her upcoming book “Lots of Candles, Plenty of Cake”. I had the chance to send in a video question for Anna where I asked her opinion of what is the toughest age range of kid to parent- infants, tweens, or teens? Her answer was beautiful, as I expected, and it brought tears to my eyes.
A Beautiful Springtime Printable:
When Laura from Eye Candy Event Details contacted me to let me know that she did indeed design a new springtime art printable, but didn't finish it in time for the link up here at Momof6, I just knew that I had to share it with you anyway, because it is SO beautiful! Thanks for emailing me Laura!
