We don't do a lot around here to celebrate St Patrick's Day mainly because my daughter's birthday is also March 17th- and of course a child's birthday always trumps a smaller holiday like this one! But if you are looking for some ways to make this day fun and festive for your family…. here's a few ideas on how to do just that!
Things to Create:
These paper shamrocks from Hoosier Homemade are beautiful and would be fun to make with the kids!
St Patty's Day coloring sheets (these are free printables) from Craftaholics Anonymous would be great for younger ones!
I love the idea of using a vinyl stencil and fabric paint to create a stamped pillow. Burton Avenue created this fantastic St Patrick's Day pillow using that technique- which is so cool!
Here is a great St Patty's Day printable you can frame to add a little St Patty's decor to your home. Thanks 36th Avenue!
Things to Cook and Bake:
These mint chocolate chip pancakes from The Idea Room would be a great way to start the day!
My World Made By Hand created these mint chocolate chip leprechaun cookies that I know that my kids would love!
Anyone else love the Shamrock Shakes from McDonalds? These St Patty's Day shakes from The Centsible Life (complete with a cute straw craft to go with them) sound fantastic!
Happy St Patricks's Day everyone!
